edb wrapping papers giveaway at souk

A temporary installation that consumes itself like a gingerbread house. A spatial arrangement that aims to generate the least waste as possible.

The installation is made of recyclable cardboard tubes containing a set of two commissioned wrapping papers (24″ x 36″) designed by Paprika for the occasion. A play of tubular shapes on silver and gold metallic prints. Free wrapping paper offered to souk visitors. 200 gift tubes per day.

Using the tubes as building blocks, paprika mounted whimsical tubular structures to dress up the space. The installation gradually melts away between December 1-5.
